Rules and Scoring for the Chris Leach HOTR Club Efficiency Trophy
- Sunday, October 5th, 2025 -
1. To be eligible for the Club Efficiency Trophy a club must finish in at least Two(2) men’s events, at least Two(2) women’s events, and one(1) mixed event
2. The club efficiency ranking is based on the average of the top Two(2) men’s events, Two(2) women’s events, and one(1) mixed finish positions
3. All boat classes have the same percentage values regardless of entries or boat class
4. Eligible events must be contested by 3 or more finishing crews
5. All medal eligible events (Club, Masters, Open and Jr.) qualify for efficiency, including U19,U17,U15 as well as Masters age split events with 3 or more finishers
6. Efficiency percentages values for placing are as follows:
• First place (Gold) 100 points,
• Second Place 80 points,
• Third Place 60 points,
• Fourth Place 50 points,
• Fifth Place 40 points,
• Sixth Place 30 points,
• Seventh Place 20 points,
• Eighth Place 15 points,
• Ninth Place 10 points,
• Tenth Place 5 points
7. The points of the top 5 boats are averaged to provided club efficiency.
8. In the event of a tie for first place the final efficiency score will not change but the Club with the higher ranking using the tie breaker system below will be awarded the Chris Leach trophy.
9. The tie breaker will be based on the highest point earning 6 the boat finisher of any event the club competed in.
